Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day Weekend Jeff and I went up to my Grandma's cabin in Pine top with her and Papa Chuck. It was a relaxing weekend and we enjoyed getting to spend time in the cool air sleeping, reading and golfing. On our way home there were the most beautiful clouds out and I couldn't help snapping picture after picture of them.

I am not sure when this was taken, but it is one of my most favorite pictures of Jeff and I.

Also in September I got a new job. I had lost my job at the end of July and it created a couple of hard months, but I was blessed with a amazing job in September at San Tan Learning Center. A charter school in Gilbert, my job included the front desk, nurses office and helping out in the lunch room. I wore many hats and the beginning months were a transition, but it was such a blessing coming at the right time with great pay and benefits.

1st Anniversary

For our First Year Anniversary we got suggested to try out The Mission. Oh man it was the most amazing food I have ever tried! I still dream about it. Small portions, but so so good! After dinner we headed over to The Melting Pot for dessert and that definitely did not disappoint either. The night was great and it was fun to relive dating moments and our first year of marriage.

Baby Knox

This was one of my first newborn shoots and boy have I learned a lot since then. Confidence helps also. Knox was born at the end of August and I took these shortly after. Big brother Nolan and sister Roxy wanted to hop in some shots :)

Fourth of July/ Fathers Day

Poor Bentley Boy is the only boy in a house full of girls. This is pretty typical of a Sunday night for him :)

All the men of the family on Fathers Day

This pretty much the only picture I have of Jeff and I from Fourth of July. Both our families were out of town, so we were lonesome on the holiday. We got take out, parked in a parking lot watched fireworks and headed home. Pretty boring holiday.

Juston and Rylee Wedding

Juston and Rylee got married on June 1st 2013. That week was a whirlwind of busy. I had my brother and sister in law in town with their three littles. That always mean a party and late nights. We had temple nights for both Juston and Rylee, dinners and wedding planning. I was the "wedding coordinator" so to speak. My mother in law left me in charge since I love all things party planning. I got the DJ, Gelato, Catering, Picked out linens, Chair ties, Mason Jars and Made the centerpieces. Not only that, but all the details and decorations I had myself or borrowed. Hectic. Crazy. Busy. My soon to be sister in law had no opinion so I ran with what I thought would be best.

I am glad I was able to have the experience. I learned a lot. I am so happy for those two love birds and can't wait to see their future blossom.

May Photo Dump

Sometime in May Jeff and I planned a Saturday to take my family to the lake. Jeff has been coming to this spot since high school. It is a little bit of a hike, but so worth it. Most of the tubers are further south of us so you don't get the yuck that comes with that. We packed lunches and spent the day spear fishing and splashing around. Probably one of my favorite times.

In May also we had the opportunity to go up to Jeff's dad's cabin in Tonto Basin. Jaron, Abby and Jill were all in town for Juston and Rylee's wedding so it made it a lot of fun. I will never go tubing ever again, but the experience was fun. My sweet husband told my father in law that it would be okay to torment me and torment he did. My neck hurt for days.

Mothers Day 2013

Here is the link to Vimeo-Mothers Day Video 2013
My sisters and I have always wanted to make a video for our mom for a long time. Brianna came up with this idea along with the songs and I put it together. When we showed her on Mothers Day there wasn't a dry eye. Were such sentimentals in my family.
